Meet Kara, a stunning girl who is approximately 18 months old. We don't know much about Kara's past but she's been with us for a few weeks and she's a lovely girl who's always happy to see our volunteers.
Kara is a sensitive girl who lacks confidence but she has been playing in the off lead with a male GSD and she comes out of her shell when she's with her friend. We think she would thrive in a home with a male dog to help her build her confidence. When out with her mate she settles really quickly and walks nicely on the lead. When Kara is on her own she finds it really difficult to cope with the outside world and although we’ve been working slowly to help build her confidence it’s very clear to see the difference when she is walking alongside her kennel buddy.
Kara needs a patient owner who will understand it may take her a minute to come around and she will find comfort in a canine friend first. We know once she feels safe and settled in a home she will bond with her new human.
This beautiful girl is eager to get out of kennels as she suffers from separation anxiety and will enjoy being around her new family a lot. Since we don't know much about her past, we will not rehome her with young children or small animals.
Kara is ready for her new life – she's absolutely gorgeous and it will be rewarding to let her go at her own pace and choose to put her faith in you.
