I may be very handsome approx. 1 year old shep but am afraid my life has been with someone who really doesn't understand dogs and I have never had any formal training or boundaries although I have it would appear a great affection for my current owner and I continually suck on his hand when we are together. Kaloo has never been off the lead, never met children, never interacted with other dogs in fact we aren't very sure if he has ever left the premises of the corner shop flat where he lives. What we do know he is a stunning looking boy who is very high energy and definitely needs this channelling into a job or some serious training. He greeted our assessor with a full on leap onto her shoulders and although pulled off quickly by owner, she didn't feel he would bite more likely to nip. However we are told that the dog is usually more aggressive when strangers arrive and he has punctured a hand of a visitor on a previous occasion. Whilst our assessor felt Kaloo needed careful handling and may have the capability to be aggressive and bite, he did seem genuinely affectionate to his owner and appeared food orientated so an experienced handler and home could well turn this lad around. Kaloo will not be for the faint hearted as he is a large heavy lad who will need taking right back to basics.
