This beautiful big boy Kaiser is 8 years old and was recently taken into a short term home because the owner was going to have him put to sleep because he had fleas.
He can be suspicious when first meeting new people and guards his patch although he was fine with our assessor after a proper introduction and was happy for her to inspect his ears, teeth and run her hands over him. He is a little heavier than he should be for his size so could do with a good exercise program and a sensible diet.
He is strong on the lead and can be a little anxious when meeting other dogs. He might attempt to chase a cat if it ran but he has never attempted to harm one
He is OK with older children but isn't so keen on little ones
He only has one testicle and underwent surgery to find the missing one, to no avail. Consequently - he doesn't like vets and needs to be muzzled for vet visits!
