Kaeli is a beautiful black and light tan puppy. Her owner is now having to work very long hours and cannot give Kaeli the time and attention she desperately needs. She is a very nervous girl in need of socialisation and training, but clean in the house. When our volunteer went to the house, Kaeli was unsure what to do; she barked repeatedly and lunged at first, but did not make contact. Gradually, she settled down, taking treats, and eventually became friendly. Our volunteer walked her and she became quite relaxed, meeting and greeting other dogs without incident. She needs an adopter with breed experience in a home where lots of time can be given to her. She should not go to a home where there are young children. In the right hands, she will be a loving dog.
