The volunteer felt that he had lucked out when he met this gorgeous boy who sadly is another victim of circumstance.
His owners have been trying for months to make the situation work to enable them to keep this superstar but they feel that they are letting him down and he needs to be with a family who have more time to devote to him.
Junior is around 5 years old and a GSD x. The volunteer couldn't find a negative thing about him. He had the following to say:
A small/medium boy who is the most gentle soul. Absolutely lovely sweet boy with such a nice temprement and a very easy boy to look after. Very affectionate and has bundles of love to give. Would make any lucky person a wonderful companion! Great with kids of all ages and has been bought up around babies and kids, not reactive to dogs and is very well mannered.
Walks well on a halti but is known to pull on normal lead. Doesn’t seem to respond to well to his name and commands but he was possibly a bit unsure of me when out on his own with me. He loved a sniff and a stroll.
He will bark at the door if someone comes, but on entry gives a nice hello and a sniff.
He hasn't lived with cats but the owner thinks that as his teperament is so sweet he could be slowly introduced. This has not been tested at all.
In short an all round lovely lad deserving of an equally lovely home
