Jerry - West Yorks

Jerry - West Yorks
This lovely lad is Jerry Lee, although we tend to call him Jerry. Very sad situation for this poor lad who has ended up in kennels due to his owners splitting up.

Jerry then moved into his owner's mother's house although he was only allowed to live in the garden. We were informed that he was very noisy in the garden so someone came up with the bright idea of using a shock collar.

Poor Jerry is a very anxious boy, he craves attention and will bark in the kennel to get noticed. When you first get Jerry out of the kennel he is so stressed and jumping up that he grabs the lead and can get hold of your hand/arm if it's in the way, but he has no malice in him and this behaviour just needs redirecting.

Once he's off the lead he is very eager to please and certainly knows all of his basic commands. He's been out walking on the lead with other dogs and behaved lovely, once he realised they were friendly.

Jerry needs a confident owner, someone thant can continue his education and help with his anxiety issues, although I'm certain that his stint in the garden, shock collar and now kennels has all added to him lacking in confidence as this poor dog's world has been turned upside down.

Fully inoculated and neutered.
