Jenna is a beautiful friendly dog who greeted our assessor well and very happy around the other two dogs she lives with (one of whom is blind) they happily took it in turns to have a fuss. However the reason for re homing Jenna is that she does have a fear of women and although whilst the man of the house is around she is great with mum and daughter, soon as he leaves she hides and doesn't come out until he returns. As the owner is working longer periods, the women of the household are struggling to get Jenna out and she has to wait until dad returns, therefore regrettably Jenna is looking for a new home. The current owners have worked very hard to overcome her issues, during the time they have had her (approx. 6 months) but feel it isn't fair on the family or indeed Jenna to be in a situation where she feels safer to be under the table when male owner is out! She is very light on the lead and off lead perfect as long as she has her ball (more distracted without). Jenna loves to have a bath and enjoys the blow dry from the hairdryer too! Although she has never lived with young children apparently out on walks appears absolutely fine whether they are male or female - Please if you are a couple where the man of the house is around most of the time, come and help our Jenna she really is a lovely girl. !
