Jeff is temporarily staying with family friends after he had a spat with a JRT he lived with. No one knows how the row started as they have all lived together since Jeff was a pup but sadly the little one came off worse and to ease any further friction Jeff is with friends.
Our volunteer was greeted by a happy dog who seemed settled, outside he is good on and off lead and has no problems meeting and greeting other dogs.
In the home he happily plays with his big rubber ball but we are told Jeff is an athletic boy who can easily jump over fences- he has been known to pop over and see how the neighbours are doing next door!
Jeff is a youngster who needs an active owner and no small dogs in the home and preferably no livestock or horses as he hasn't quite got the measure of how to behave so he does the typical GSD approach - bark in the hope they go away.
