This lovely lad is a victim of circumstance and sadly needs a new home.
He is vaccinated and microchipped. He is still entire so will come with a neuter contract.
Said to be fine with children over 7 years.
He is fine with dogs that he knows, so would need proper introductions in the first instance.
We would not rehome with cats and he is untested around livestock.
Jake was on the sofa when the volunteer was invited in. He was pleased to see her and said hello very nicely, no jumping just sniffing and wanting to be stroked.
Jake is sadly left for long periods during the day but has a dog walker 3 times a week. He can be left without issue for upoto 6 hours.
He has a favourite ball which he hasn't managed to destroy. He knows all basic commands. Out of the home he walks well on a lead and has good recall off lead. (Trust off lead will need to be built with any adopter)
He is not overly keen on water but does enjoy a brush.
The volunteer really liked Jake, he has a cheeky side to him but is well trained with good manners. He isn't an instant lover at first sight kinda boy. He will need to gain your trust. He has been with his family for 5 years so any new adopter wpul.d need to give him space to settle and feel happy in their company.
He would happily fit into most homes. Not perfect but a good lad who desperately needs a new forever home.
