This handsome man is nearly 3 year, neutered Jake. This poor lad has been through a lot in his short life so far. He was originally taken into another rescue because he was fighting with his mother. He was terrified of the environment and quickly lost weight and managed to get cough. We took him into foster where he was nursed back to health and he began to rebuild his confidence. Jake was rehomed which did not work out. He is currently in foster where he has presented himself as a very wary young lad. His instinct is flight not fight. He is particularly wary of men which would imply a male has hurt him somewhere in his past. Jake has been great with foster mum?s other dogs and is coming out of his shell day by day. This gorgeous boy would benefit from a female home with not too much traffic and an older steadier bitch to guide him. Are you that special home?
