Jake is a lovely lad who has come a long way since his awful start in life. He came to GSDR from a pound a few years ago and was almost certainly a victim of abuse. He is a nervous boy who prefers the company of women to men. He is neutered and microchipped. Jake is good with children of all ages, good with other dogs and is good with cats. Jake has lived with two other dogs and would benefit from a home with another dog. Jake needs a quiet calm home, he does wet himself if shouted at. Jake is good on a lead, walks to heel on and off lead and has good recall. Jake needs a patient home where he can settle in and get over his anxieties, which will take time, but he is very eager to please. He will need lots of company as he gets very stressed when left alone. Jake is looking for a new home where he can be nurtured and continue to grow in confidence. His current owner is heartbroken at having to part with Jake as she has done so much work with him, however due to unforeseen circumstances she is unable to continue looking after him. Can you offer Jake the special home that he needs?
