Jager is a stunning boy with a super temperament. He greeted our assessor with sniffs and soon rolled over for a belly rub.
Jager has been well trained, demonstrating a number of commands and walks to heel when asked. He loves to play with footballs and frisbees and would play fetch for hours if allowed!
Jager lives with his GSD sister and they have a strong sibling bond which can make it difficult for their owner to interact with them separately. He will bark at other dogs out walking but no dogs were encountered during the walk to be able to test this.
He has received his initial vaccinations but since then been titre tested to check immunity, he has also never received chemical wormers/flea treatment. A home that will continue this natural approach is preferred.
We are also looking for an active home for him and as he has not lived with children we would only look at homes with older children.
Jager does have an overactive thyroid and needs to take a tablet twice daily. The cost of this is approximately 48p per day.
