Jacko was in a desperate situation. He was being kept outdoors in all weathers. His owner had died and he was depending on twice daily visits from the family for food, water and exercise.
He is a failed police dog (he was too friendly!) and now abandoned. How sad that this beautiful dog should be treated this way.
When he was assessed, he gave our volunteer a severe licking and happily took treats. Jacko is now safe in kennels enjoying some tlc and comes across as a lovely friendly boy.
Our volunteers took him on a GSDR walk where he had the time of his life. He is a gorgeous friendly boy who deserves better. Our volunteers will try and brush him up a bit more and get all that dead hair out of his lovely black coat.
Will somebody take pity on this poor boy and offer him a forever home?
