Jack - Shropshire/Powys

This handsome boy has had some mixed luck lately, he was found straying but thankfully it was one of our volunteers that he bumped in to in his wandering. He has had his microchip checked but it is unregistered and our volunteer has kindly offered to house him until a home is found. The dog warden has agreed that they are happy for him to find his new home through us now his mandatory 7 days are up.

The volunteer has named him Jack and says he is a lovely boy. He is housetrained, great on lead and very sociable. He is currently sharing his home with 2 dogs and 3 cats. He is fine with the dogs and may be able to live with cats but will need careful introductions.

Jack isn’t suitable to live with young children as he doesn’t really know how big he is and has a tendency to jump up. He is also quite greedy, possibly due to being hungry while straying, and can snatch food.

He is approximately a year to 18 months old but obviously this is a guess taken by the vet he saw after being found. His fosterer says he is “playful, kind, alert and loyal so will make someone a good companion.”

If you think he might be the one for you please get in touch.
