Jack is a GSD cross Akita, just 18 months old and looking to be re homed due to owner moving abroad. Jack greeted our assessors with excitement and jumping around. He appears to still mouth (albeit gently for your attention), Jack knows basic commands and is a friendly dog who with a more experienced owner would quickly learn how to behave. He is still very puppy like in his ways, kept himself amused by un-tying assessors shoe laces whilst assessment in progress. Outside Jack has never been allowed to socialise, nor has he ever been off the lead, current owner said never had confidence to do this as Jack is such a strong bouncy dog and she feels happier just walking him alone. Jack is definitely one big softie who would benefit from an owner with more confidence around large dogs. Jack can get grumpy if you take food off him but absolutely no trouble with toys. Jack is good around children currently aged 11 years plus. Jacks really is a soft pot and loves nothing more than a tummy rub!
