This beautiful young girl is Izzy who is 1 year old sable long coat who is not yet spayed. She was booked in to be spayed but this has been delayed because she came into season.
Izzy is a very pretty girl but she show signs of nervous insecurity making her appear aggressive. She has bonded with her dad who she depends on for security but not her mom even though she is the one that feeds and walks her. Unfortunately her dad is away at work all day and she is playing her mom up.
Our volunteer found Izzy to be fearful but she did relax after a short while and let him fuss her. Any sudden movement though and she runs off to hide.
She has a umbilical hernia which the vet says is a simple procedure and can be done at the time of spaying.
Izzy is very playful and loves to run around so would benefit from a large garden.
She has a bit of a resistive tummy but is OK on dry Chappie fed twice daily.
She lives with a 3 year old child with whom she is fine, she likes other dogs but not cats.
We suspect Izzy came from a puppy farm where she was not socialised properly so she needs a patient strong owner who would get a lovely life friend.
Can you help build Izzy's confidence and help her feel more at ease?
Izzy is such a pretty girl
