IRIS - MILTON KEYNES

This young lady is sadly looking for a new home as her owners don't feel that are equipped to give her the life that she deserves. She is so young that all her behaviours at present are typical of a pup.

Iris is good in the home, an intelligent young lady who needs lots of mental stimulation, physical exercise because of her age should be watched. She loves a ball and likes to play games. her owners say that when out she is not food focussed and when she sees another dog she lunges and barks and tries to pull towards it. She doesn't react to cars or people out of the home like this.

As a pup she was well socialised and she lives with another older dog at present who she seems to get on well with. We are unsure as to whether something has changed in her home environment to make her react to other dogs when out.

Iris is happy to see visitors in the home, she does jump up  and get excited but no aggression is shown.

In all this young lady needs boundaries and consistency. A typical youngster who has maybe got away with more than she should have. She needs more mental stimulation than she is currently getting. She would revel in someones care who interacted with her and learnt to understand her, someone who will take the time to show her how to behave. She is a delightful young lady with a lot of love to give but her behaviours will take a little time to change.

Wherever she goes from here it has to be her final home where she can live the best life, one that she deserves.
