Sadly due to unforseen circumstances Inca is back in rescue looking for a new home. We moved her into a foster home but they have decided that because she can be reactive to dogs when on a lead that they cannot look after her until we find her a home. She seems to dislike small dogs.
Inca is still a beautiful soul but before she was pulled into foster had not been getting the exercise that she needed. She is a little on the heavy side, but loves every person that she meets.
When she was originally assessed over a year ago she had been living with another dog but was rehomed to being the only dog. She has taken a decline with dogs out and about as her adopter during lockdown was not socialising her and her walks became less and less as she became more reactive.
She is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold. She loves humans and loves nothing more than a cuddle. Her foster carers made a point of telling us that she is PERFECT in the home. A pleaseure to have around.
I really do NOT want to pull a 7 year old into kennels who has lived her whole life in a home. She will not benefit in any way from that experience. What I dearly wish is for someone to offer this gorgeous girl her retirement home accepting her the way that she is....... slightly imperfect ...... but aren't we all
