Well this cute little fellow is called Ice, he is approximately 3-4 years old, neutered and has his own passport.

Very little is known about Ice other than he ended up in a shelter where he was very timid and frightened. He has settled here in foster very quickly and as you can see, he has made great friends with Danny and they play lovely together.

Ice is wary of strange people but is OK once he knows you. His reaction to uncertain situations is to get out of the way and hide, he has never shown any aggression. He is wearing a harness because at the moment he does not like anything around his neck which is probably as a result of being abused by the dog catchers using a catchpole.

He is OK with other dogs, but will chasecats and because of his unknown background and shyness, we would recomend an adult only home or one with older children.

We believe Ice is probably a GSD / Husky cross therefore would be better being rehomed with another dog in an active home.

Ice doesn't like being shut up alone in confined spaces, it panics him. His kennel door is therefore left open so he has access to his run and he is much happier with this arrangement.

His new adopters will need to be patient and supportive initially in order to build Ice's confidence so that he learns that not all humans are bad.

Ice has all the makings of a lovely, good fun family dog who will be a faithful and loyal companion. He really is a very sweet boy but one that has had a very bad start in life.
