Hector is a mere 14 months oild and sadly looking for a new home as his owners feel that they do not have time for him.
The volunteer was met by an over exuberant rather tall young man with no malie just pure excitement at having a visitor to the home. She is used to the exciteable behaviour but the owner doesn't really haver visitors as they are scared of Hector because of his jumping up.
He did calm down and took treats very gently from the volunteer with commands. He settled whilst the paperwork was filled out but everytime someone moved so did he.
He is in dite need of morte mental and physical stimulation, he needs company interaction and more walks.
He has been taken to a secure field to have a run about and the son has taken him to the local park where the kids play football. He is said to be fine with older children.
In the home he is sweet and loving. He doesn't chew and can be left for periods of time. An elderly neighbour pops in to sday hello and change his water for him, so fine with people he knows coming and going.
He has had dogs to stay over and doesn't seem to mind, will initially chase the little dogs but then accepts them
When walking he will need a collar or harness that fit him with a double ended lead as he is quite an agile boy and managed to slip his nose lead.
In all he is a lovely boy who shows no malice just needs to learn some manners, He definitelyy needs mental and physical stimulation but also some socialisation. He will in the right hands make a fabulous addition to your family
Older children only and initially would say the only dog in the home whilst his boundaries are worked on.
