Here we have the delightful Harvey who has come into our care due to his protective ways - absolutely adored his mum but never really bonded with dad and on a few occasions showed his dislike when dad got too close to his beloved mum. SO Harvey is now in kennels whilst we find him a new home. Harvey has had food aggression in the past but that has been worked on and he was terrible when visitors called, again worked through and now accepts people in the home. He is good on the lead, lived with another dog who was much older than him so not much interaction. Excellent recall, great with other dogs. Okay around children BUT his bonding with one person so quickly is something to be aware of and maybe an adult only home would be best to give Harvey the one to one attention he loves and someone with GSD experience to continue his training and keep on top of his ways. In return you will find one adorable bear of a boy who will be your friend for life.
