Harvey - Dorset

Harvey has spent a lot of time in kennels and has not had a lot of socialisation so will need an experienced home who can work with him and show him all about the big world. He is nervous of people he doesn't know so will time and space to adjust to his new home, with his owner he will mouth and get excited but is not aggressive. He has not lived with young children so we would only rehome where children are 14 years up. He will chase cats so a home without would be better for this young man. Harvey has not had much contact with other dogs and is not very good around them, but as he is only young with the right owner and training we think this problem could be sorted. Harvey is very good on the lead and has good basic commands and showed a good recall for our volunteer. He has been diagnosed with OCD and more information on this will be discussed with any potential adopter. He is a very bright young man who needs a home where he can shine.
