What a big softie Harry is! When I entered the house he greeted me in a very friendly manner and after getting a fuss he settled down onto his bed with his cuddly toys! He is a very handsome boy with a fabulous nature.
He is unfortunately looking for a new home due to the marriage breakdown of his owners. He is being left for very long periods.
He loves attention and because he is good with children he would make a great addition to any family. He really just needs a loving environment.
He doesn’t like fireworks or raised voices but other than that he is just one chilled out lad. He loves cuddly toys, tug toys, squeaky toys and likes to play ball. He will eat almost anything although has to be careful when eating too much chicken. Amongst other things he likes pasta, rice, cheese, fish, scrambled egg, corned beef, cooked meats, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. He also likes Sainsbury’s doggy chicken doughnuts!
Basic training is already in place and Harry’s recall is good. He never strays too far away when off the lead. Harry can sometimes bark at other dogs but it very much depends on how they approach him. If they are ok with him he will simply ignore them.
Harry has a lovely gentle nature and would be suited to someone who has little experience of GSDs provided they were able to handle him if he was to bark at other dogs. He would be an absolute pleasure to own.
