Here is Harley, a young, beautiful and friendly lad who has had a bit of a rough start in life. Harley's current owners took him on from his previous owners because he was really underweight and was obviously a willing and well mannered boy, but he really hasn't settled with their existing dogs and behaves like a bored teenager, throwing his weight around a bit. He's got fabulous person skills, is great with children and we think he could be introduced to other dogs with care, as long as he is not allowed to get bored and destructive. Our volunteer found him to be a charming and sweet boy and would be taking him herself if she could! He already knows basic commands, has good recall and walks well on a lead, but he would benefit from further training and a lifestyle that challenges and gets him properly tired to enable him to be calm around the house. He's very excited to meet cats, which doesn't seem to please the cats much, but apart from chasing he has shown no sign of doing them any harm when he's got close to them. Could you have a busy and challenging life with this lovely boy?Re homed to Father 6th May 2012.
