Hannah - Hereford

Hannah - Hereford

This lovely young German Shepherd girl is Hannah and she is about 18 months old.

She came to GSDR from Rhodes as she needed to get away from Greece where they treat large breeds like GSD's, very badly and they are often kept on chains.

She is fit and healthy, her blood tests are all good and she is chipped and passported. She was spayed before leaving Rhodes.

Hannah is very friendly although submissive. She has had a bad life being abused by her owner who tried to use her for breeding.

She had a phantom pregnancy about 5 weeks ago and was dumped after that.

She is back to normal now, she is a lovely friendly girl and very pretty. She was very underweight when rescued but has gained some extra pounds now and is back up to her ideal weight

Hannah is good with other dogs, she just wants to play but she seems a little scared of cats. She met her rescuers cat and shied away . She is Ok with men too.

Hannah is young and very puppyish so we think she needs a nice active family home where she will get lots of stimulation and exercise. She has limited training so needs to go back to basics. She had obviously never been walked on a lead before and pulls. She is now learning to walk properly on a Dogmatic head collar. She jumps up to so her foster mummy is working on that.

Are you the ones for Hannah?
