Hamish is nearly 5 and neutered. He came to us from an inexperienced home where he had not been taught all of the boundaries. He loves exercise and mental stimulation. Hamish can tend to get overexcited and jumps up but this naughty habit has improved since he has been in our care.
Although he has lived with a young child, we would not re-home him with children due to his energetic behaviour and the fact he is a big dog. Hamish is very alert and will quickly bond with his new owners. Given time and lots of exercise, we are sure he will settle down to be a fantastic and loving boy.
Hamish just needs owners that are use to the GSD breed and can continue to show him the leadership and guidance he needs. He will need an active home to burn off his excess energy so somewhere with a large garden or land would be ideal. Hamish has spent too long in kennels for a dog his age and craves human contact and affection. He is currently in the Bristol area.
