GRETA is currently in kennels but now looking for her forever home.
Greta was rescued from a horrendous kill shelter in Romania and is now in the UK and looking for her own family.
Greta is a Tervuren (Belgian Shep Dog) so in a nutshell a very intelligent dog that will need a job to do, so an active home would suit this young dog. She is approx 18 months old, dog and people friendly, unknown with cats and children, so age 12 & above.
Although Greta is great with dogs she meets in the off lead she is very vocal when she’s out and about, so a home with a lovely balanced dog or 2 will be ideal as they will help build her confidence when walking out and about. When she is on the lead and people just turn up she becomes vocal and unsure of them, so a confident knowledgable Home is an absolute must.
Our volunteer took her home for the afternoon she was very interested in everything going on and it wasn’t till she had something to focus on did she actually settle, so a understanding home someone who is patient and give Greta the time to experience her surroundings is a must.
Greta is a very loving quirky girl and I’m certain that who ever meets her will adore her, but you also need to be equipped to be able to show Greta that the big wide world is a wonderful place but just need to visit it at Greta pace.
