Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Mark and Karla - Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Karla came into the rescue in March 2011 aged approximately 4 months. She had spent her short life, tied to a washing line. She was adopted by Mark Steward a volunteer for GSDR who initially offered to foster Karla but couldn't bear to let her go.
This is the lovely Karla
Karla settled in straight away with Mark and Scooby, his other GSD who will be 9 in February 2012, accepted her too. He too is a GSDR dog that Mark has had since August 2010.

Mark and Karla started to attend a dog training school around May, which she loves and has passed her Puppy, Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Dog Scheme which is accredited by The Kennel Club. They are now working for the Gold award.

Karla is very bright and very sociable, she loves the attention she receives from the GSDR fundraising events they attend and has even met a celeb – Lisa Kelly, from the TV program Ice Road Truckers.

Karla is now a regular attendee at GSDR fundraising events. Karla even persuaded Lisa Kelly to autograph a GSDR T-shirt which was auctioned to raise money for GSDR

Karla can also be very lively (but not on this occasion) and has since been given the nickname Karla Kaos. But she is still a puppy so this will decline as time goes on.
Well a girl has got to get some beauty sleep
Karla is a joy not only to Mark but to all others who meet her.
Well done Mark and Karla, you have set a wonderful example for others to follow. Next the Gold Award.
