This gorgeous girlie is 8 years young and sadly looking for a retirement home tyhrough no fault of her own. Sadly her owner can no longer give her the time or exercise that she needs.
Goldie is a very loved member of her family and this has been a difficult decision but they feel that it is best for Goldie to find a home where she will get all the attention that she deserves.
The volunteer on arrival was welcomed with a bark and once in the home was greeted with a sniff. Goldie worked out pretty quickly where the treats were and once sat down she came and sat by the volunteer and handed her a paw and was rewarded with a treat. She is extremely treat focussed so should be easy to reinstall the basics that have lapsed over the last couple of years.
She is walked on a dogmatic but doesn't really like it, spent most of her time on the grass tryng to get it off. She also likes to walk in a zigzag but this is probably due to the fact that she hasn't been out for the last few weeks. The volunteer didn't find her particularly strong on the lead. Goldie didn't react to a small dog walking down the road, she remained calm and relaxed.
Goldie is a lovely girl with very few behavioural issues, she is a very genlt girlie who really just needs a family who will love her and include her in everything they do.
