This gorgeous boy is Ghost who is a white, 3 yr old castrated male with a heart of gold although a little insecure and nervous with strangers.
He’s very gentle and extremely loving. Very good with children and lives with another dog.
Ghost is very energetic and needs to be walked 3/4 times a day. He’s a bit hit and miss when out on a walk when meeting other dogs, he barks a lot because he is very vocal, but he’s never bitten. Other dogs have gone for him and he’s shown his teeth, but he's never got into a fight.
Ghost lives with another dog but his owners don't know what he would be like with cats.
Ghost is truly beautiful and thinks he is a kitten, he doesn’t realise how big he is.
He likes to climb on the sofa and into bed for cuddles. His owners say he likes to drink out of the toilet rather than his water bowl, and also tries to eat from the kitchen bin if you are not careful!
He has a wonderful personality and never fails to make his owners laugh.
He likes to play with balls, soft teddies and rope, but doesn’t like to play rough, he cries a lot...he’s a wimp!
He is being rehomed because a baby is due soon, and they worry that they won’t have time to look after him and give him the right care once the baby arrives.
His owner also worries that as he is so big, he’s super clumsy and gets under the feet a lot, so they don’t know how he will cope with a baby. He is excellent with young children and very close to their 6-year-old, they are never apart.
Ghost has been in his home since he was 6 weeks old, and he was severely neglected and weighed 2.6 kilos. His owners saved his life when the vets were very close to putting him down.
Earlier this year he had a twisted stomach and twisted spleen, again the vets gave the owners the option to have him put down as many dogs don’t survive a major operation, but they went against them and he cam sailing through the operation and is not fit and well.
Ghost will make a wonderful companion and pet.
