German Shepherd Ted Cruelty Case in Shanghai China
SHANGHAI TED
Well, what a difference a few weeks makes. So wonderful to see Ted improving day by day. Ted is now being prepared for travel to the UK in summer and we want him to go straight into his new forever home. If you would like to be considered to adopt this beautiful boy, please complete an adoption form.
Please help us raise the funds to bring Rex and Ted over to the UK. If you pay by Virgin Money Giving and you are a tax payer, we get an extra 25% in Gift Aid.
Here's how you can donate.
To all those people that treat their dogs as disposable commodities and use our rescue as a dumping ground for their unwanted pets - shame on you. Both Ted and Rex are truly deserving of our help and this is what rescues should really be used for.
This was poor Broken Ted
Once alerted to his plight, International Rescue got underway and moved Ted into a foster home to prepare him for his long journey to the UK where a better life awaits him
First Steps to a new life
So here is our Ted who is approx 1-2years old. He's come a long way since the day he was left to die at the pound. Starved, confused, scared with bloody mucus pouring from his nose, his muscles all wasted. With the love and support from rescue teams JAR and WADS in Shanghai and GSDR, he's now safe in a foster with 2 amazing people who have worked hard to get him to where he is today. He will be having his jabs, will be neutered and then getting ready for the UK around summer.
Already looking better
Out and about for walkies
The muzzle is a legal requirement over there, unfortunately. At least it means he can enjoy walkies for the first time
Ted is very thin but now gaining weight slowly
Ted enjoying a bit of grooming
A bed!!!
Ted looking rather chilled
A belly rub for Ted - now that's a real treat
