Meet Freddie the tall dark handsome boy sadly looking for a new home because his owner has been made homeless and is living in a small boat in a harbour. Freddie is 6 years old and entire
Freddie is a very strong, fit dog as he goes swimming everyday in the sea and river and loves to fetch balls a big sticks.
Our volunteer found him very friendly to wards her and other people as they sat on the bench in the harbour watching the world go by. He is fine with kids. He is however very protective of his home and hates postmen or delivery men with a passion.
Freddie isn't too good with other dogs, particularly large dogs that he doesn't know and will have a go if he gets the opportunity. He does however have some doggy friends who he accepts and plays well with. He does not like cats either
Freddie had a very bad start having been found at a year old starved in a shed where all the other dogs with him had died. Despite this terrible start, Freddie has no food aggression issues.
He is very fond of his owner and they are very dependent on each other.
Freddie will need an active home with a strong confident owner
