Fred is a beautiful 8 year old boy who is looking to be re homed due to his protective nature over the 2 year old child, out walking with the buggy Fred is very reluctant to let anyone near and feels he has to protect his mum and the tot. This has resulted in Fred not being taken out on family trips anymore and with another baby on the way owners feel Fred is only going to get more left out, which isnt fair as he is a loving boy. Our volunteer was met by a grump and a woof but Fred was soon over to say hello and to take treats gently. We are told Fred is good with other dogs and he currently happily lives with a cat. It is just his new role of protector that is causing concern at the moment, therefore going forward if you are a confident owner with no small children then this lovely boy would make a smashing addition to your home.
