Frank - West York

Frank - West York
Meet Frank. A lovely older soul who enjoys to snuggle on the sofa either with you or with a cushion. He does get over excited at visitors to the house and although does not bark when they come in, he will whine and bark in excitement and for attention.

Frank is clean in the house and will let you know that he needs to go out to toilet by whining. He knows his basic commands 'sit' and 'down' and does pull a little on lead but is responding well to training. His recall is ok with no distraction but hit and miss when he sees another dog. He is friendly and runs to greet but for his own safety, this does need continued training to stop. He travels well with no sickness but can be vocal.

Currently in foster with a female GSD, Frank is very playful but, as he is still entire, can be a little dominant. As such he would benefit from a home where he is the only dog or with a calmer dog.

Frank does not like cats and will chase. He is a lovely boy with soulful eyes who will be the perfect companion to someone willing to continue his training.
