Floki is a GSD Lab cross who at just 6 months old is having to start socialising and training as his original home did nothing with him for the first few months of his life. Now happily in foster he is learning basic commands, has been toilet trained and is starting to go out on the lead. Floki as you would expect is a little nervous and will need a home where they can continue to build his confidence and have the patience to train a youngster. Our volunteer was greeted by an excitable vocal boy who was happy to take treats and was able to settle and go to his bed. In his current foster home they are finding Floki very dominant over their existing dog and this is something that will need work going forward as he does have a tendency to hump his other 4 legged friend - who being such a gentle soul doesnt tell Floki off. All in all a young boy who is now finding that life can be good and people are kind and it will surely only be a matter of time that this youngster blossoms.
