Flick is 12 months old and looking for a new forever home where he can continue his training and continue to gain confidence around other dogs.
He has had 7 weeks in a home, where they have taught him many things, how to sleep alone at night, how to travel well in the car, lots of games and commands such as paw, sit, stay, wait etc BUT his current home is surrounded by sheep and try as they may Flick will not ignore when out on a walk and his prey drive is strong and current owners cant relax with so many sheep and cattle coming right up to their door. Flick also gets anxious when left on his own, with this in mind, a large double door gate has been working really well, as he will stay alone when he can see through the door gate. He has been going to dog training classes where he is learning to be around other dogs (in his original home he did live with 2 other dogs and was fine) but on a lead he wants to try and lunge, however on a choke chain and a quick check he now walks on and ignores. In just 7 short weeks he has learnt so much but as yet due to his rural surroundings hasnt been off lead, he is a very loving friendly dog in the home and in the right new environment where his training can be continued and his confidence boosted he will be one stunning dog.
