Finley is only 14 months old and living on a small holding where he is used to seeing a horse, geese etc but not off lead aroud them. He has a doggie friend that visits occasionally but day to day he has a quiet lifestyle in the country and therefore we wouldnt know how he would be in busier environments. However, he is used to travelling in the car. Finley is looking to be re homed as he is becoming more and more boisterous around his elderly owners and has acquired a bad habit of jumping up and It would seem that the dynamics between Finley and his owners has changed and he now feels he needs to be in control around them, barking for attention etc. Our volunteer was greeted by a bouncy noisey boy who although very friendly does.become too enthusiastic for attention, particularly jumping up. Therefore going forward this young boy will need to be taken back to basics and given far more stimulation than he is currently receiving. Finley's highlight of the day is waiting for the postman to visit as he always has a treat for him.
Finley knows basic commands but is also very excitable when put on the lead, initially jumping and grabbing for the lead but in the right hands and with an experienced GSD owner this yougster should flourish.
Please have your home check in place prior to enquiring with your Area Co Ordinator about meeting Finley.
