URGENT URGENT URGENT
Fern found herself a home just 4 short weeks ago and now finds herself being returned to rescue through absolutely NO FAULT of her own.....
She cannot go back into kennels as this would be so unfair on a young dog who has had a taste of living in a home with a family, we feel this would be detrimantal to her health, which sadly makes her an URGENT case
Fern is a belgian shepherd cross who came into our care back in May this year and was in kennels for 5 months just because she wasn't a FULL GSD. She is a sweet girl who gets very excited, loves people and is super intelligent and loves to learn. The voluteers at kennels were doing really well with her training, She does suffer from seperation anxiety and needs a home where her adopters will be around for mpost of the day.
ORIGINAL WRITE UP.......
We were asked to take Fern by a lady who had rescued her from a back street breeder. He rented a house and had it full of dogs left to their own devices. No humans resided at the address.
Fern is full of beans, a bold as brass young lady who likes to think that she is pack leader and certainly not not submissive.
Loves human company and enjoys cuddles. Food driven would be an understatement so this will help with training.
Has no lead etiquette but we trying to resolve as even though a slip of a girl she is very very strong. Does get on with other dogs but will also put in place if needed, may have to watch as can be a little hooligan.
She loves to go for walks and in a secure field loves running around playing with toys.
We think she would like someone around most of the day as she does get a little lonely. She would have a tendency to chew when bored and on her own
She may not be perfect but she is well on her way and really deserves her forever home..... have you space in your home and heart for this young lady.....she will love you unconditionally.... PLEASE THERE MUST BE SOMEONE OUT THERE FOR HER
