Fergus

Meet Fergus whose 15mths old and is very sadly in totally the wrong home

His present owners have no experience with the breed and are fearful of him when meeting people both inside and outside the home which has caused the issues

Fergus does attend doggie day care a couple of times a week where he displays totally different behaviour and none of the issues outlined by the owners are present … it was like meeting two completely different dogs our volunteer said

Fergus lives with a cat and so with careful intros could again

Fergus gets on really well with the dogs he attends day care with so could live with another dog and would benefit from having a friend who could show him how he’s supposed to behave

When out on the lead he is suspicious of strangers and reacts due to the owners nervousness, we feel if he went to an experienced home this could quite easily be overcome

Fergus is feeding from the extreme anxiety of his current owners, we feel if removed the reactivity to people both inside and out could be worked on

He is a fabulous young boy who needs direction and exercise

We recommend a home with no children due to him not having any contact previously and his current reactivity
