Young Rex is sadly looking for a new home due to a relationship breakdown. With the seperation comes a house sale and neither party will be able to keep Rex.
Rex is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
The volunteer was let into the house where Rex was is his crate. He was muzzled before he was let out and went to have a good sniff of the volunteer. The volunteer found no aggression just a little nervous.
Rex could not be rehomed aropund children and is said to not like dogs or cats and barks at horses. This could just be lack of socialisation when younger and with time, patience and the correct handling could be overcome.
The volunteer took Rex for a walk, he is said to pull on the lead initially and then settled and walked very well. Rex was very alert on his walk and didn't like people coming anywhere near him. All the schools were coming out so very busy, the volunteer stood for a while watching the kids and adults coming and going. Rex jumpoed in the air once and yelped but not at anyone. Could have been excitement.
There have been a couple of incidents with Rex that have sadly made his owners lose their confidence.
We feel that Rex would excel in a calm confident home who can set his boundaries and show him how to be a dog. Someone who can build his copnfidence and introduce him slowly to the world and other dogs. A lovely looking lad who really does deserve the best.
He would need to be the only dog in the home and would appreciate an adult home only..... is he the dog for you ????
