This handsome man is 8 year entire Rex. Rex was taken into kennels when a volunteer was advised that he was due to be put to sleep by his owner as they were trying to sell their house so kept him in the garden where he barked non-stop!
At the kennels, Rex is still a little wary of the staff at times but allows them into his kennel if there is no food present. We don't know why but Rex is very food aggressive, however he is getting better and is now sitting before the staff feed him whilst they are in the kennel entrance.
Rex is good to walk and does tend to get on with most dogs, with the exception of large aggressive males which he does not detest, but is not too keen on.
Rex still needs some work with his food aggression issues, but on the whole is turning into a much better dog. The kennels have not bathed Rex as they feel he does not trust them quite enough yet.
