Zac is a 4 year neutered male. Zac originally came into rescue over a year ago when we are asked to re-home him as his owner was taking on a new job and moving away and could not take Zac with her.
Zac has been in kennels since February last year where he has shown no signs of aggression or kennel guarding and has been a lovely lad. The kennels tell us that Zac is a good all round dog but he has shown some protective issues when he was in his previous home. He is clean within his kennel, good to walk on the lead, good with most dogs both male and female, good to bath and groom and is not food aggressive. He takes really well to our new staff and has many people come up to stroke him when out on a walk.
Zac has been on a couple of the group walks with volunteers and behaved very well. He will chase cats.
He has also recently had a few weekend visits to a local weekend foster home where he has been an angel but gets very upset having to go back into the kennels.
Zac is rather playful and does enjoy his toys(or rather enjoys making a game of you trying to take them from him!).
Zak needs a confident and experienced home without children who are prepared to continue work on his training and socialisation. Do you have what it takes to give this gorgeous lad Zac another chance and a home to call his own?
