Emrys

Meet our gorgeous boy Emrys who is sadly being rehomed due to his dad being unable to look after him following a serious accident

Emrys is 2 years old and is a gorgeous cream shepherd whose recently been spayed

He loves the teenager he currently lives with so could live with children aged 10

Emrys does bark when people come to the door which is typical of the breed but is very friendly and just wants to sit beside you

He currently lives with another doggie and they get on very well but Emrys is very unsure of other dogs when out BUT our volunteer felt that this was due to

Emrys not being able to interact with dogs and he could simply be a vocal dog who wants to play so with that said we feel Emrys should be an only dog with careful introductions to dogs after he’s been allowed to settle in his new home

He’s very playful and has lots of energy but that is because he’s not walked very often so becomes very excitable on the lead but wasn’t too much for our volunteer who is currently pregnant and had no issues walking with Emrys

Our volunteer feels that with time and training Emrys could do very well and has the potential to be a much calmer doggie

Emrys knows his basic commands with sit, stay and paw and was eager to share his toys

He will make a wonderful addition to a family and given time he will be a super boy with a little commitment.
