Meet Elsa coming up to 12 months old a typical bouncy, energetic pup that through no fault of her owner is looking to be re homed. Elsa definitely needs more time than her current owner can give and there are some issues that need ironing out to get this girl more settled. Elsa has been to puppy class up to bronze stage. Until recently went regularly to doggie daycare and is also used to being walked by a dog walker. Elsa currently lives next to a park and her new focus is to bark at dog walkers as they pass this has now become a very good game which is under correction as we speak. In the house Elsa is very good and can be calm and biddable but sometimes when bored she will find things to do to amuse herself (her current owner sometimes has to have eyes in the back of her head to keep ahead of Elsa's antics). Our volunteer found a more nervous vocal dog when he arrived, once sat Elsa gingerly came over for a sniff and within a minute was happy to have a treat and a fuss. Outside on their walk, Elsa was initally strong but she walked passed every passerby without issue and even though excited to see another dog she was biddable to correction. Therefore going forward we are looking for a GSD savvy home, where they are used to the antics of a youngster, can continue training and above all have the time to give this wonderful girl the best of homes.
