Elsa is being rehomed due to being left for long periods at home alone, she would like a home where this won't happen.
Elsa is going to need an experienced home with someone who will teach her to relax and that she doesn't need to protect as you are her leader. She has become over protective of her home and family, she will bark and run back and forth with her hackles up when visitors come to the home. She needs an adopter who will take control and show her that she does not need to protect and learn to relax. She is very attached to her owner and would not be walked by our volunteer but our volunteer said she walked nicely on the lead. However again due to her insecurity Elsa is very reactive to other dogs and will lunge and bark. She doesn't really like toys and has good basic commands.
Elsa in insecure and will need an experienced GSD adopter who can take the weight off her shoulders and step up to being in charge. I think once she get's into the right home this girl will relax and be much happier.
