Elsa has just celebrated her 3rd birthday and was adopted approx 4 months ago but sadly due to her unpredictable behaviour around the male in the property is now looking for a new adoptive home. Elsa does lack confidence and will need a new home, preferably with a female owner, someone who will continue her confidence building and external socialisation. Elsa has been to training classes and indeed does have good basic training and when walked by the female owner, who has a good relationship, Elsa has come on slowly gaining confidence in the great outdoors but still reactive to stangers on the road and prefers to keep away from other dogs. In the home, Elsa continues to be nervous, she always barks when visitors arrive at the property and takes time to settle. Once she knows you, even male visitors can be greeted well and she'll happily have a stroke and fuss. When Elsa was first assessed by the rescue her original owner, who bought her as a pup did say she was always wary of males but fine within the family home and fantastic around the two children she lived with (one was only 8 months old). Going forward Elsa will need a confident experienced home who can work through these issues and continue the confidence building and get this girl to relax and enjoy life.
