Ellie has been a loving family dog, brilliant around children, in fact she seems to have more affinity around them than adults. She is a typical shep who hears a noise and barks to alert but sadly now being left for longer periods and living in a high pedestrian area, Ellie is barking far too much. Our volunteer was greeted by a woof and was told to ignore Ellie as she can be very wary of new people in the house. Sure enough it took Ellie a while to come over and say hello but she did very calmly and gently. Outside Ellie walks well and has good recall but we are told she can be wary of new dogs but fine with the dogs she meets regularly, in fact she lives with a small dog now quite happily. At 9 years young Ellie is still active and a loving girl who definitely deserves to find a new forever home where she can get the fuss and attention, preferably with people who won't leave her too long and can let Ellie just snuggle up and chill.
