We’ve been asked to help rehome Ellie as she’s currently with a none breed specific rescue. Sadly, Ellie was rehomed but returned due to them testing the poor girl to see how she would react to their friends. She was under a table in the garden and their friends approached her, Ellie flew at them and nipped, but didn’t break the skin. So Ellie was returned to kennels, she really can’t cope with being in a kennel the rescue think she associates it with being kept in the small utility for 18months which is where she originally came from. She gets so stressed it really is a worry for all who are trying to help her.
She has never shown any sign of aggression in kennels towards any animal carer or walker but she is dog reactive and will redirect, so she is walked on a muzzle which she doesn’t seem to have a problem with, she has never lived with other animals but has been around older children.
Poor Ellie, desperately needs someone to take her into foster and help build her confidence.
