Ellie is in foster care having come into this country from Cyprus back in 2014 where she was rescued after being found on a puppy farm. She is approx. 5 years old and quite a small shepherd (weighing around 23 kilos) so easy to manage and walk on the lead. At the moment she is living with another male dog who she is happily settled with and loves nothing more than playing chase in the garden. There are no young children in the foster home but Ellie was very happy meeting a 9 year old and having a cuddle and a fuss. Ellie would benefit from a home where there is someone around 24/7 as she can get quite anxious when left for long periods although this is improving. Ellie is a sweet tempered shep and would love nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa and she is very entertaining to watch as she can get giddy and do some fun things to get your attention i.e. pinch your shoes! Ellie is fine around other dogs, good on the lead and been a very good girl meeting strangers out on walks both of the human and canine variety. She was an absolute star at the dog groomers and a typical girl in that she loved all the fuss and pamper, she has visited a doggie day care centre and played happily although it was noted she doesn't like really small dogs in her space.
