Echo is a very friendly GSD x Malinois pup who greeted our assessor with a face wash. She is a lovely girl who does not have an aggressive bone in her body, except when she is walked by her lady owner. We are told that she is fine when her husband walks her. We suspect that this lovely girl thinks that she needs to guard her lady owner and hence she is reactive then to other dogs.
Sadly we could not verify any of this as there were no dogs around at the time of Echo's assessment. We know only that she has lived with another dog, her litter brother. Otherwise she revealed that she does know basic commands and other than pulling on the lead, which can easily be remedied, she was fine to handle outside.
In the home Echo is a delight. She is friendly towards visitors and children of all ages. It would be best, however, for her to only be homed with older children and she is quite active and rather full on for little ones.
All in all, Echo is a young pup, who will be an affectionate and loyal family pet. Her etiquette will need some work but nothing outside the scope of an experienced GSD owner.
